I am a licensed clinical psychologist and have been in private practice since 2006. I earned my Master’s (M.S.) and Doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees in Clinical Psychology from Washington State University, and completed a predoctoral clinical internship at the University of Chicago Medical Center. I later completed postdoctoral fellowships at Northside Hospital and the Atlanta VA Medical Center. I obtained my undergraduate degree (B.A.) from Vassar College with honors in psychology.

I provide therapy to adults, adolescents, and couples (married, unmarried, or partnered) and have extensive training and experience in the prevention and treatment of body image problems and eating disorders (i.e., anorexia, bulimia, compulsive eating). In my current practice, I see clients with all kinds of problems, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, eating disorders, addictive behaviors, and low self-esteem. I have worked in many kinds of treatment settings including private practice, hospitals, community mental health, and a university based counseling center and psychology clinic. I am in private practice because I find the process of therapy to be extremely gratifying and enjoy seeing people grow and flourish.
